I've heard that it can slow your puter down quite badly. Not sure I want to try it. Puter's slow enough as it is, especially as hubby steals all the bandwidth after 10pm

Sonic whatever you do, don't put AVG 8 on until absolutely necessary. I uninstalled 8 and tried to put 7 back on but it wouldn't have it, did a system restore thinking that might work if I put it back...

AVG has improved the slowness aspect with version 8.5 I use it with all of my equipment. Another decent one is "PC Tools Antivirus".
